Hello Anonymous,

Thank you for your very nice comment on my last post (currently unavailable). I appreciate your kind words. I am soooo glad you're not a troll. I have to admit I am not sure who you are but I have a couple of ideas. Actually, I have one idea. You didn't find my blog by accident, did you?

Here's the thing. I took a big risk with making my pictures and name public. I know it's out there now. I know you've read my personal thoughts and feelings. And I know you've had my site open for 22+ hours. So, I'm feeling a little weirded out, despite your sincere sounding comment.

I don't have anything to hide. I don't regret anything I wrote. I also don't mind if you read my blog. But, if you know me I'd like to know that you are reading. You know?

So, thanks for reading and thanks for your kind words. I'd feel so much better if I didn't have to guess who you are. Thanks for reminding me that anonymity is more comfortable for me.

Have a brilliant day!

You know...sometimes when I read a post I mean to comment on or I like or something, I leave it open in my browser until I can get to it later. But since I never turn my computer off (I just let it "hibernate"), sometimes I realize that I've had someone's blog post open for, like, 2 days. And then I feel creepy.

I realize this is probably not your situation here. But if you--or anyone else reading this--sees that I'm on your site forEVER, that's why.

Yeah, I do that too, all the time! I know I've done it on your blog. You probably think I'm a stalker!

I don't mind having lurkers, I just like to know who they are!! That way I don't talk bad about them! Unless they deserve it. hehehe.

Yup, time to turn off those anonymous comments, huh? ;)

And dangit, I missed whatever that comment said. I hope it wasn't anything too bad. :(

I think you are a wee bit over sensitive.

Granted, you have been revealing quite a bit of personal info over a few blog entries – the kind of stuff you wouldn’t normally do unless you were fairly comfortable with the environment.

However, I don’t think you are being stalked. I notice people sometimes spend many long hours on my blog – I’ve had a few spend more than a day. Interestingly, my first reaction was, “Oh, they parked their browser on my blog and forgot about me.” – sort of like when you are talking to someone and they say, “Oh, hang on, I’ve got another call coming in?” and then forgets about you (I consider interrupting a call rude – get voice mail!).

A matching corollary to those who linger forever are those who flit in and quickly leave – those in the under 5 second category. Gee, are things so dull at my blog that people run away as quickly as they can? I always hope that my entries garner a little more interest than that.

Funny how different people react to similar events differently.

Wasn't me!

But if I was going to stalk anyone I would only have eyes for you!

I know how you feel. Someone accessed my site with a search string that was a little too personal, so I went through one day and edited every freaking one of my blog posts.

Hopefully yours (like mine) was just a fluke but it's still scary to have too much info out there, and hard to know where to draw the line.

Sorry if I freaked you out, not my intentions. It's been along time since we saw or spoke to each other so I thought it would be fun. But my mistake, I should have known better. I have to defend myself though, I wasn't on here for 22+ hours, I couldn't sit still that long. Now if I were cooking or bbqing thats a different story. You were correct, I didn't find by mistake, I found out by chance. I was talking with my old next door neighbor who happened to stop by while visiting family in the area and he and myself and my wife were all talking and kids came up etc., etc., etc. We just wanted to say hi and see how things were going. You saw her about five years ago or so but I haven't seen anyone since 1995 when I boarded the outbound plane from Honolulu. My wife and 1 yr old daughter stayed for a little bit longer until she transfered stateside. Now I'm sure you know who this is now, P,K,A, and almost 3 yr old son T, which I don't think you know about. Your 2 have grown up alot. WOW, is all I can say, we could hardly believe it's been so long since we've seen all of you. I won't bother you, I really just wanted to say hey and wish you all the best.

I have about 400 readers a day, yet only about a dozen who ever comment. It can be a bit unnerving, not knowing who out there is reading. But it sounds like your lurker has revealed him/herself now. I hope this doesn't stop you from telling your story.
