More unbearable cuteness

Hmmm, what is this? A tasty treat?
A between-meals snack?

Who dares to invade MY kingdom?

Me? Cute? Pshaw!

Don't you love the little "M" marking on his forehead? He doesn't have a name yet, but I'm calling Meester Kitten Pants for now. Posted by Picasa

I have one that looked a bit like him 10 years ago or so... the "M" is a warning... it stands for "Mischief," "Mayhem" or "Monster". Have fun with him, sooner or later he'll be sleeping most of the day and you'll be SURE there is some kind of special 'cat gas' in your place that makes them pass out.

If you have a cat named Pi and one with a big M on his head, can you really call him anything other than Mu?

he is sooo cute....

all tabby's seem to have "M"s on their foreheads...

(from Wikipedia)
"Many tabbies have a distinct 'M' marking on their forehead, which is the mark of the true tabby. There are several legends about where this came from, including one that the Virgin Mary bestowed an M on a tabby's head because the cat helped keep the baby Jesus warm. There is another legend to explain the M, where the prophet Muhammad bestowed the marking upon his beloved cat's brow after it warned him of danger. According to the legend, the M remains today to remind us of Muhammad's blessings upon cats."

of course, for my kitty Mellencamp, the M stands for his name, obviously....
