My dew dose id stubbed ub

I am feeling soooo much better! As long as I do nothing, I am feeling fine. If I get up and go somewhere, I feel a little funny and my nose gets ucky. However, it is looking great (almost back to, or better than, normal) and you can't tell how yucky it is inside from the picture but trust me, it's gross. The worst part is that it is full of icky stuff, like dried blood and boogers, but I am not allowed to blow, sniffle or pick my nose so I have to just let it be. Do you know how hard that is? Oh man, it's hard. I will fully admit to picking my nose when no one is looking, but now I can't pick or anything or I risk injury or infection and there is no way in hell I'm going through any of that again so I'll just deal with it. Gah. Plus, it's hard to talk when you have stuff in your nose. I sound like I have a bad cold. boo.

Sometime in the next few days, I hope to be able to go out in public without holding a piece of gauze to my nose. In the meantime, here is a picture of my progress.

I still have tape holding my nose in place and I still can't smile properly. My face is sort of slightly swollen in front but you can't really tell. I was in surgery only 3 days ago. What a weird couple of days. Now that i've survived this, what on earth am I going to blog about?! =)

Wow, your top lip looks a little swollen but other than that you can't even tell! Beautiful!

The big difference I see is that you are smiling like usual.

Looking amazing as always whirledpeaz - you looked just fine to me before! Anything for a good night's sleep though.

You take care of yourself. I'll be asking around.

Glad you're making progress...looks great! But I can't imagine not being able to blow, sniff, or pick. That would drive me crazy.

I'm supposed to have my deviated septum fixed. I am afraid of them breaching that paper thin bone between your nose and brain...oh, did no one tell you about that? Sorry.

I don't wanna even more now.

Hope you feel better extra pronto quick.

Wow! That is amazing, noone would guess that you had surgery 3 days ago. Good for you!

Although you do look a bit meeker than usual.

Looking spectacular!!! Wow, that is really fast progress. I had a slight black eye for some reason after my deviated septum was fixed. And, we will definitely need to share "Packing Removal Day" stories. I, being the intelligent person that I am, wore white pants to Packing Removal Day. Dumb. Dumb. Really Dumb.
